At 5 years old, Nick’s father led him to the Lord after a communion service. The product of a God-centered family, he knows first-hand the blessings that come when a family puts Jesus at the center. Just before his senior year of high-school, Nick felt the clear calling of God into full time ministry.
He attended Liberty University for his undergraduate degree, where he met his wife, Emily. They now have two children, Samuel and Haven. After graduating from Liberty with a B.S. in Biblical Studies, Nick and Emily moved to Dallas, Texas, where Nick attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and worked at Prestonwood Baptist Church. Nick spent time in the young married adult ministry before transitioning to the children’s ministry. In 2015, he graduated with a M.A. in Christian Education. Nearly 3 years serving in children’s ministry gave Nick a passion for reaching both children and family with the Gospel. He desires to see parents fully embrace the role of discipleship in the home that God has given them.
He began serving at Fellowship West in August of 2016. At West, Nick gives leadership to the preschool and children’s ministry. He also helps ensure that parents are equipped to train up their children in their own homes. For children to truly be changed into life-long disciples, parents must recognize and embrace the responsibilities laid out for them in Scripture. Families will be most blessed, and God most glorified, when functioning the way that God designed them to.
